The Tactical Operations Unit trains and prepares all officers within the Park Ridge Police Department for emergency situations that may arise within the Borough of Park Ridge.  The training includes tactical approaches to active school shooter, clearing buildings for bomb threats, hostile employee in the work place, high risk motor vehicle stops, search warrants, school lock down drills, and the care and proper use of all departmental firearms, ASP expandable batons and pepper spray.
