Press Release: Arrest - Criminal Sexual Contact

On Sunday January 18th, 2026, at approximately 1151 hours, the Park Ridge Police Department
responded to a Spa on Kinderkamack Road for a report of a male party who had made
inappropriate sexual contact with a female victim. The victim alleged that the male actor
inquired about what services were offered and if the spa worker could be fully nude. While the
actor inquired, he then allegedly placed his hand on the breast of the spa worker without
consent. After being asked to leave the establishment, which he was reluctant to do, he fled
when the spa called 9-1-1. Upon fleeing, witnesses were able to obtain a New York License
plate and a vehicle description which was broadcast to surrounding jurisdictions. A full canvass
of the area was conducted.

At approximately 1251 hours, Officer Carlos Alicea spotted the vehicle in question heading
northbound on Kinderkamack Road, and a motor vehicle stop was conducted in the CVS parking
lot. The driver, identified as a 75-year-old DAVID NEUMAN of Monsey, NY, was placed under
arrest and transported to the Park Ridge Police Department and charged with N.J.S.A 2C:14-3B
Criminal Sexual Contact, a 4th Degree Crime. DAVID NEUMAN was released pending a court
appearance at Bergen County Superior Court on February 2, 2026.
